We all understand how significant and important Kahurānaki maunga is to us all. We also recognise the connection, interest and feedback associated with the recent announcement of the sale of Kahurānaki Station (1,156ha). 

 

Tamatea Pōkai Whenua (TPW) have engaged Ngāti Kahungunu Iwi Incorporated (NKII), and other leadership regarding this sale, and have the support from them in leading the due diligence on the property and will ensure all processes are undertaken to make an informed, coordinated and transparent decision.

 

The Tamatea Pōkai Whenua (TPW) Board will look to meet shortly to determine a final position associated with Kahurānaki Station, which will be communicated out to whānau in due course.

 

In the meantime, we appreciate your understanding and patience while due diligence is undertaken, and these discussions and processes are developed moving forward.
